Hi, I'm Christine Lane a good friend of Colleen Boyle. I am setting up this Go Fund Me for anyone who would like to donate to help Colleen cover the cost of Good Finnie's medical bills. Good Finnie has had bloodwork, a blood transfusion, a CT, and a biopsy. Good Finnie has a mass in his left nasal cavity that is pushing on his eye and brain. From Colleen's last update on 7/13, "I have a referral for Upstate Vets Oncology in Greenville, SC. Hopefully, we can get in sooner rather than later. I fear 'later' would be too late. By then, we should have the biopsy results back so the oncologist can figure out if he can be treated, depending on exactly what we are dealing with. I feel like someone punched me in the gut. It is so hard to wrap my head around this. It's just so unbelievable. I love him enough to do everything in my power to give him back a good quality of life if that's possible, but I love him too much to put him through hell on earth. So I will see what the oncologist says when I can get an appointment and hope and pray his life can gain back some good quality and be prolonged. I am so shocked and so sad, and so so so so angry. Yes, I am angry. I want to scream and punch something. But Good Finnie wants me to go lie next to him and pet him and tell him I love him and bury my face in his big, fluffy, furry neck.....like I've done every day since June 21, 2015, when I rescued him. I am not ready to let him go, but if it's what's best for him, I will. I pray that something can be done, but my hope is dwindling. Thanks to all who have messaged me and prayed for us.
