Hi, I'm Dave Donnelly. I've had a months-long journey with a stray dog that we nicknamed The Tramp. He had been living in the woods of South Carolina and showed up one day behind our farm, on the other side of the fence. He was skinny, stinky and sad but he posted himself there and refused to leave. While days turned into a week we realized he wasn't leaving and contacted a rescue group for help. For those of you that followed this story live on Facebook, we didn't know how or where it was going to go, but I wanted to share The Tramps story as it evolved, so every day I posted about our challenges, fears and joys until The Tramp became Good Boy. I continue to post about him and his transition from a fearful lost dog to a trusting and loyal friend. Good Boy still has a ways to go. He’s an incredibly happy and loving dog, but he’s still ‘wild’: we haven’t been able to transport him to a vet for a solid check-up, vaccinations, neutering and a bath. And Good Boy is one more mouth to feed that wasn’t in the family plan. It happens. This LFEBridge is for Good Boy! We need help with his care, his health, and his vet. Good Boy chose us and our farm to save him, bring him out of the woods. It’s hard to imagine what his history was, and how desperate he was, but we have seen his transformation over these past 5 months and shared it in real-time with his followers that have cheered him on. We honestly don’t know if this will be his forever home. We want that for him, but more importantly, we want Good Boy to continue to gain trust and health. Good Boy is incredibly special, I’m humbly grateful for any help we receive for him!
