We at The Basin Football Netball Club, The Basin Cricket Club, and wider Basin community, come to you today, asking to assist with a gesture, for man that has dedicated the most part of his adult life, to the success and stabilisation of The Basin Sporting Clubs, and we have decided to present Alex with a travel voucher, as a small token of our appreciation for his phenomenonal effort and monumental sacrifice over the years. We have been fortunate enough to have Alex Winters stand alone as a President of either sporting club for well over 10 years, however it is now time for him to sail off into the sunset and reflect on his incredible journey, and the remarkable impact he has had on both clubs throughout the duration. We could sit here and list the many notable efforts Alex has generated for this sporting club, but we would be here forever. Those that have been involved over the years, know exactly how hard he has worked, and how exhausting the process has been. The implementation of firstly netball, and more recently the women's football program, have been absolute highlights, as they have added so much to our community both on and off the court/field. If you've been a player, coach, supporter, sponsor, member, or anyone affiliated to The Basin Sporting Club, you have all benefited from Alex's commitment and dedication, and I ask you today, that you dig deep for a man that has gone to the well so many times for us.
