Hi there, I'm Kim. Ben's stepdaughter of 19 years. I currently live and work in Italy and unfortunately, tragic events like these are never in the budget as an expat. I hate asking for help with every morsel of my being, but the only thing that seems more unbearable than asking for help is not being there with my siblings when they bury their dad. I am asking for help to reach 2K to travel back home. I know you must all be thinking " ah she's living her best life in Italy! She can afford all life throws at her!" But I promise you I am living on an Italian Salary. I am very humble in my spending and living. The 2,000$ will allow me to travel back home for an unknown number of days, pay someone to petsit my too many cats, cover some bills from not working, and mourn the sudden loss of my stepdad with my siblings. I am very humbled by your help with this and am only looking to get back home to spend time with my family in this life-altering time.
