Greetings family, friends, loved ones, coaches, and teammates of the Huff family. My name is Dee, and I’m a longtime friend of the Huff family and a quasi-aunt to Xavier. I have the most exciting news to share with each of you. Xavier’s dedication, hard work, and discipline has recently paid off as he has qualified to compete in the 2024 USATF NATIONAL JUNIOR OLYMPIC TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! He will compete in Oregon 24Jul-30Jul. So many of you have worked beside, trained, and/or witnessed Xavier’s superb athleticism over the years. You’ve also witnessed Tyson and Jo’s joint effort to make sure that he and even your children always had the very best coaching, positive reinforcement, academic support, equipment, and love. As we celebrate this momentous accomplishment, I would fail in my duties as a friend, aunt, and sister if I did not do everything I can to lighten the burdens this family will face on their first of many journeys to greatness. Frankly, the trip is expensive as hell, y’all. They have to pay for flights, a week’s stay in hotels, food, uniforms, and etc.. I’m asking for those of you that have ever experienced or benefited from the fun, loving spirit that runs through the Huff family to help get Xavier to his first Olympics. Donate to this campaign.
