Dear friends, My name is Julie (Blackwell) Steakley, and I am writing to you today regarding our beloved Beau Baker who suddenly passed earlier this week. His family is absolutely devastated and is struggling to find the funds to cover funeral expenses. Today, I am reaching out to everyone in Beau’s honor to assist the family in raising funds for funeral services and to set up a memorial fund to help support his beautiful children during this time of unimaginable loss... The family will need help in covering all expenses by this Saturday, July 29th when services are planned. Beau's life purpose was being an amazing father and grandfather. He is survived by his three children, Taylor Lynn (Baker) Wegert (28), Emberlynn Rose Baker (12), and Jayden James Baker (10) and his grandchildren, Brooklyn Wegert (6), Harley Belle Wegert (3) and Sid-Jedadiah Wegert (1). Beau is remembered as a true family man. He loved his kids more than anything. He was a best friend to many and someone who was always there for all those in his life. His closest friends remember Beau as the funniest, most charismatic, loving, a loyal family man and a brawler who fought tooth for his family and all those in his life. Beau was born February 1, 1972 in San Antonio TX. He was raised by his dear mother, Joyce Baker. He grew up surrounded by his family and closest friends who were all still in his life all these years later. Beau was a graduate of Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio TX and made his family home in China Springs, TX over the most recent years. Please consider donating if you are able to do so. The family is incredibly grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
