Hello. My name is Shana this is the story about my daughter when Shelby was around 8 or 9 years old her pancreas quit working she had several surgeries to remove stones and an obstruction in her intestine over the years the repair to her intestine had become weak and started to die the last few years it has only gotten worse however we did not know that things had gone this bad. She began to experience extreme weight loss due to the fact that her small intestine was dying without the small intestine the body does not absorb any nutrients and cannot live. The medical professionals did not do their job properly in catching what the issue was so she could not be saved. Shelby left behind her son Justin who just turned 6 in May, she has no life insurance or burial policy and I can not afford to pay for her funeral on my own. I have not been able to work since the 1sr part of June due to taking her to her Dr appt and taking care of her at home...she asked me to bring her home with hospice so she could be with her son and family and she could pass away at home. She doesn't want a huge service she just wants something small with family and close friends but I am not able to do this for her without help. Shelby is the most loving and amazing mom I have ever known she is a loving daughter and sister and has a heart of gold she would help anybody in the world if it meant she would be left with nothing.. Her 22 yrs on this earth were not enough I miss my baby and want to do what is right and what she deserves... I don't ever ask for help but I don't know what else to do. Please help me lay my baby to rest she deserves so much more.. The funds will be used for her finally expences and if enough is left to help with her sons needs for school supplies and clothes and any legal documents needed for me to obtain guardianship of him.
