My name is Angela Kent and my son Ra'marh, lovingly known as "Raymizzle," passed on to his heavenly home after a long battle with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. I would like to raise $8,000 to help with the funeral expenses. Over the past two years of his illness it has been a challenge to cover medical and monthly bills as the primary caregiver. This final expense is simply too much to bear. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Please consider sharing or donating to directly support a home going for my son. Ra'marh was 34 years old. He was always quiet and reserved, except for being in the marching band in high school (SE Raleigh) and playing the big bass drum! He put his whole heart into it. After graduation, he was employed at McLaurin Parking, working hard and saving his money to purchase his first vehicle. He learned through books he obtained, how to maintain and repair vehicles. Ra'marh would often get asked by ladies in the neighborhood if he would take a look at their vehicles. After asking about the type of vehicle and problems, he would search for or purchase the repair book for that particular vehicle. Ra'marh would tell them if he wasn't qualified to repair the problem and would always refer them elsewhere. Sometimes, he would repair it with or without the full price. Ra'marh has one daughter Kimora, who is 10 and resides with her mother in Baltimore, MD. In January 2024 Ra'marh had to stop working at Amazon due to an unsuccessful surgical procedure to take out a lymph node. Soon after Ra'marh was officially diagnosed with large B-cell lymphoma, but due to having no medical insurance was not able to start treatment until health insurance was obtained. After many appointments, scans, numerous biopsies, and surgical procedures to obtain samples of fluids from infected lymph nodes, he started chemotherapy. He finished radiation treatment in August 2024, pictured above ringing the bell off the wall on his last day. Unfortunately, the lymphoma returned aggressively and required additional treatment in the form of intensive CAR-T therapy and rounds of continuous chemotherapy as a hospital inpatient beginning in April of 2024. I am devastated at this loss and ask that you please consider sharing or donating to directly cover funeral expenses.
