Hello family and friends of John 'Big John' Tary Guynn. As some of you know John passed away on 7/14/2024 which would have been his 37th birthday. John had been in a nursing home for several years after a hip injury and surgery years ago that he never recovered from. He had several ailments that kept him from being able to get back home where he belonged. John had kidney failure and had been on dialysis for several years before his nursing home stay and during. Anyone who knew Big John knows how special he was. He was the kindest, most gentle giant you could have the pleasure of knowing. I grew up with Big John since we were about 6. I didn't know it then but many years later I would have children with his older cousin Jon and become actual family. I always considered John and his younger siblings Megan & Jacob family anyway so this it was even more of a blessing when my five daughters got to be their family. John lost his mother Judy Rice Wiley in August of 2010. I know in my heart he never got over that and his little sister struggles with that as well. As would anyone losing their mother at such a young age. Judy meant alot to both of them. John was blessed with a little brother who was alot younger than John but look so much like him. I remember how excited John was when Jacob was born. He loved his siblings and wanted them to always know that. Big John loved hanging out with his cousins and friends. He never met a stranger. He liked cruising around listening to music and loved all kinds of music. Big John was so generous he would have given you his last dollar or the shirt off his back. I know so many people who can share tons of memories they have had with Big John. I pray all those people Big John had an impact on can come to his aid and help his family give him the memorial he deserves. John had a big personality but an even bigger heart ❤️ Arrangements are incomplete at this time due to him being three hours from home at the time of passing but as soon as those are arranged I will update everyone. I was given John's families blessing to do this for him.
