My name is Staci and I’m starting this go fund me in hopes to alleviate some of the financial burden on my grandmother Gladys Johnson and mother Colleen Jameson that the passing of my Aunt Cathy Johnson Haussermann is causing them. On Sunday July 9th 2024 Cathy was found deceased in her home from an apparent heart attack, she was 64 years young. Over the recent years Cathy had more than her fair share of health battles however, family and friends were under the impression that she was on an uphill battle and things were improving. Her unexpected death was a heartbreaking shock to several that knew and loved her. Now our family is dealing with the unexpected burden of not only the loss of a loved one but funeral expenses, bills, and the clean up of her home and property. With the pile up of medical bills from a cancer diagnosis, the passing of her daughter, trying to be a single parent to her granddaughter, and having a heart that would spend her last dollar to get a good deal in hopes she could possibly help out someone in need with it Cathy did the best she could to keep things going in life. Unfortunately that left a lot of debt and a lot of “stuff. As a family we are pulling together to help as much as we can but there is an overwhelming amount of debt and years of hoarding that need to be settled and taken care of. My Grandmother and my mother are both extremely overwhelmed not only did they loose someone that was a huge part of their lives and hearts but are now faced with an outstanding financial burden of this all. They are both elderly, retired, and living on a low fixed income themselves. Neither Gladys or Colleen are physically able to navigate the mess that was left to them. Money from this fundraising will go towards funeral expenses, clean up of Cathy’s home, and any other expenses that need to be dealt with. Any help to ease this burden on our family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
