Michael Shaw’s tragic passing has rocked the various communities he’s touched through his good works, charity, organizing, and friendship. On the cusp of achieving his dream of a secure family life in Buffalo, NY in a new home, Michael was tragically killed by a semi-truck en route to the East Coast. Michael was so excited for starting a new life in a new house that he worked so hard for. According to his widow, Molly, he died happy, having just accomplished this huge goal — he was in his moments of victory, and he was almost home.
