Hi, Meet Jasmine. She is an approximately 3-year-old Pit Bull Mix abandoned by her former owner and currently under foster care. It looks like she recently had a litter of pups, has no medical history, and shows clear signs of past neglect. On Friday, July 28th Jasmine was taken to TARA ( The Animal Rights Alliance) Vet clinic for a routine exam, blood testing, vaccinations, and spaying. Upon release, we were informed Jasmine is positive for Lyme disease and Heart-worm disease, both requiring immediate medical care. Yesterday, August 2nd, she was taken to a full-service veterinary clinic in Newburgh ( Stone Cottage ) NY to be further evaluated. Her treatment will be lengthy, difficult, and cost prohibitive. We are determined, with your help, to get her the best care possible so she lives out the rest of her days happy, healthy, and cared for. Your donations no matter how big or small will make a significant impact on Jasmine’s recovery and make her treatment possible. Any excess funding to the amount needed for her treatment will be donated to other local animals in need.
