With deepest sorrow, we announce that Brandon Klimpel, age 28, born September 30, 1994, our beloved son, brother, father, grandson, nephew, partner and friend passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 26, 2024. Brandon loved to laugh. He found humour and joy in everything he did. He was a true artist who created art from a young age. He loved the kitchen, and to watch him cook, told you what his passion was. He was creative and brave with his masterpieces and he loved to share them with everyone. To be with Brandon was to be your true self and share heartfelt laughter. Brandon was sentimental and found joy in family traditions and togetherness. Brandon loved deeply. To be loved by Brandon was always shown with the biggest of bear hugs, the kindest of smiles and the words he always said as he was leaving, “love you guys, see you soon.” Brandon loved to play games of any kind and found tireless energy for his children, nephews and nieces. When he was with them, you felt Brandon’s childlike joy in the tiniest of experiences and his endless laughter. Brandon made space for everyone to be their true selves and would celebrate who they were with contagious and unapologetic joy. Brandon always assured his family and friends that he was okay and that life may have been bumpy but there were always better days on the horizon. His optimism was comforting and his outlook was a way for him to manage the bumps. Brandon will be forever missed. There will always be a chair for him at the table and memories to be shared because this is where he belongs, with his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held to honour Brandon’s life. This celebration will be alcohol and substance free. A private burial will occur at a future date.
