Good day my beautiful people! How is everyone today? Thank you for stopping by and taking a minute to check my page out. I so appreciate you. Quite honestly this is a bit strange for me; I am stepping out in faith and going to give this a try. My name is Kara Biddle, and I am raising funds for a life changing opportunity that God has placed in my life. The City of Refuge is a self-sustaining village in Honduras that I am blessed with the opportunity to go and serve at. I will be interpreting for a missionary who will be there filming a documentary about the City of Refuge ministry. Both, the missionary filming and myself, would be providing our services as missions volunteers. What does that mean you ask? It means that we are self funded. The turn around time for this trip is very quick. This opportunity came suddenly with very little time to prepare. We are to leave on August 7 and return the end of September. I believe I need to step out in faith because I truly feel that this is where God is calling me, and I know He will provide. What does “stepping out in faith” mean to me right now? It means I don't have the means to do this, I am leaving my job with no income in the foreseeable future. I believe that God has placed this opportunity in my life in the short-term for long-term gain for His kingdom. More than anything I want to say, please pray for me. While I would appreciate anything you can give to help, I relish your prayers 10,000 times more.
