Michelle Hill's calling was to fill the world with beautiful music. As Music Director of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Del City, OK, she accompanied young couples as they marched down the aisle en route to married life. She sprinkled in soft refrains as their babies were sprinkled with baptismal water. She helped them bid a musical farewell to their parents and grandparents with songs that bring comfort and solace. While music was her calling, her PASSION was her twenty-two year old son Michael. Radiant and glowing on her sixty-first birthday on Sunday, July 2, there was not even a hint that she would be singing with the angels just three days later, and that Michael, who would have done anything for his mother during her life, would be faced with growing up quickly and resolving the matters associated with death. The shock is unfathomable. The responsibility is overwhelming.With permission from Michelle's devoted sister Joanna Hill, this LFEBridge is established to allow Michael the material comfort that comes from financial relief so he can focus on the process of grieving and adjusting to his new normal. The funeral alone will cost between $17,000-$20,000. It is said that it takes 100 pennies to make a dollar. Every donation will be a tremendous blessing to the family, and a tribute to a wonderful woman who touched so many. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 9, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115. The Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
