The FC United DSM 2007 Boys soccer team has made history again! This team is the only Iowa team to qualify for the United States Youth Soccer National Championships - and have now qualified three years in a row. The National Championships will be held July 23-28, 2024 in Orlando, Florida. This diverse group of young men have risen to the top through training, discipline and high-level competition from some of the nation’s best teams. The team has won or finished as a finalist (2nd place) in the Midwest Regional tournament each of the last three years, finished as a finalist or semi-finalist in the two prior National Championship appearances and has fared extremely well when playing many outstanding teams from across the nation in games and tournaments. Players represent 12 different Iowa high schools and at least five nationalities - yet the team has a unique chemistry and operates much like a large family. While the sport of soccer is a positive outlet in their lives, it has also created confidence and a drive for success on and off the field that is unmatched. The FC United DSM 2007 Boys soccer team is seeking financial assistance to assist with travel expenses for the 2024 National Championships and the cost of team meals while at the event - something that has proven to be beneficial from both nutritional and emotional standpoints. Any funds raised in excess of the goal will be invested into the team’s 2024 travel to highly competitive tournaments and events. ¡El equipo de soccer FC United DSM 2007 varonil hace historia otra vez! Este es el único equipo de Iowa que ha calificado 3 veces consecutivamente al torneo para el campeonato nacional de soccer juvenil en los Estados Unidos (United States Youth Soccer National Championships). Este torneo se celebrará del 23-28 de julio en Orlando, Florida. Este grupo diverso de jóvenes han alcanzado estos logros gracias a su dedicación en el entrenamiento, su disciplina y las oportunidades que han tenido de competir con los mejores equipo en la nación. En los últimos 3 años este equipo ha sido finalista 2 veces y campeón 1 vez en el torneo regional del midwest. En los últimos 2 años ha sido finalista o semifinalista en el torneo para campeonato nacional celebrado en Orlando, Florida. Los jugadores representan 12 escuelas superiores en el estado de Iowa y compartimos un mínimo de 5 nacionalidades. El equipo tiene una química única y trabajamos como una familia. Además de cosechar los logros mencionados, este deporte ha contribuido para fortalecer la confianza de estos jugadores Rentor y fuera de l campo de juego. El equipo de soccer FC United DSM 2007 varonil está pidiendo su ayuda para contribuir con los gastos de viaje y comidas que va tener el equipo. Si se exceden las metas de recaudación, el sobrante se utilizará para los gastos de viaje de los nenes para la próxima temporada. Esperamos contar con su aportación.
