Hi my name is Emily and I am fundraising on behalf of the Williams family. My aunt and cousin have asked me to put together this fundraiser to help with expenses caused by the sudden and unexpected loss of my uncle, a loving husband, father, and papa. On July 13th Bradley Joseph Williams passed away at home unexpectedly leaving a grieving and confused family. Bradley Joseph, lovingly known as Joe, and Gena have been together since they were 16 years old, raising babies and grand babies. Although they met at 16, their lives were unknowingly intertwined long before that with Joe’s father delivering milk to Gena’s family and Gena riding her bike to elementary school and picking Joe’s mother’s flowers on her way. Their love story was fate. Joe was a truck driver for the majority of his adult life, spending long hours on the road and somehow coming home ready and willing to be the dad his kids needed. Whether that meant teaching them how to swim or planning camping trips, he was always there to encourage them to be strong, independent, young women. All of that love and dedication only multiplied with his grandchildren. Every Saturday was spent hanging out with Macy and teaching her all of the things he also taught her mom but from a grandpa’s point of view, so lots more bribes and sugar, she was the light of his life, and he was hers. Anyone who has spent time with our family knows the absolute bond between Joe and his grandson Aiden. From dirt bikes and BMX to a love of trucks and the most adventurous spirits, these were two, inseparable, peas in a pod. With how sudden Bradley Joseph’s passing was, his family is stuck between a rock and a hard place. They are left grieving the loss of an integral part of their daily lives as well as trying to fund many unexpected expenses. Anything and everything helps.
