Hello, friends, families, and supporters of education! My name is Charla Jackson, and I am a passionate Social Studies teacher at School for Classics High School. I’m excited to share an opportunity with you that could have a profound impact on my students' education. We are planning a life-changing educational trip to Paris, France, and we need your help to make it a reality! The trip to Paris is a carefully designed educational experience that will broaden our students' horizons and expose them to the rich culture, history, and art that this city has to offer. In grade 10, my students learn about the French Revolution and what life was like living in France during that time. They will get a chance to see some of the historical places that they learn about in class. Paris is full of learning opportunities, from the iconic Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum to the historical landmarks that shaped the world we live in today. I strongly believe that education extends beyond the walls of the classroom. By taking my students to Paris, I aim to spark curiosity, foster cultural understanding, and inspire a love for learning that will last a lifetime. This trip will promote global awareness, and allow them to see firsthand the topics we've been discussing in class. Unfortunately, international travel comes with great costs, and not all of our students can afford to go without some assistance. I am reaching out to you all for support. The goal is to ensure that every eager and deserving student has the opportunity to be a part of this transformative experience.
