We invite you to be a part of this transformative journey and make a lasting impact on Madison's future. Her story. As most of you know, Madison tragically lost her mom at the age of three. Not understanding or being able to comprehend where her Mommy went so suddenly, Madison went into a shell and became morbidly shy. 5 Year Old Madison Karate video After years of working with her, putting her in karate classes, afterschool programs, tutoring, therapy, and acting classes, she had just rounded the corner when the pandemic struck. Remembering a commitment I made to her mom, Kim, the very last time I saw her on this Earth, she made me promise to get Madison into acting and entertainment. You see, even then, Kim saw something in Madison that I hadn't yet seen. And reluctantly I promised, the next day she died. From Podcaster to Voice Over actor. During the early days of COVID, I was desperate to find anything constructive to occupy Madison's time. If you recall, we were all on mandatory lockdowns. No one left their homes. The streets were empty. Schools shuttered. And kids could not play with each other. I was fearful that she might regress and that's the last thing I wanted after the amount of work I had put into her. One day, after sitting with me and lending her cute little voice to my podcast, she said to me that she could do it too. She came up with a show concept and name right there and a few weeks later it was in play. At 7 years old she had her very own podcast. Madison Starts Podcasting at Age 7 video Madison interviewed the local business owner of Wild Birds Unlimited. Madison interviewed the local business owner of It's About Time. Madison interviewed the Zoo Atlanta zoo keeper for the elephant enclosure. Fast forward, the podcast has garnered her attention from the producers of Ryan's World, Bluey, Karma's World, and more. These are major streamers and studios who see her potential and are interested in taking it to the next steps as a live-action variety show (no longer a podcast). Even more recently, she was invited to join the Young Artist Academy, affectionately known as the 'Youth Oscars' due to its relationship to their sister organization. The organization provides real opportunities to grow her budding career by leaps and bounds. This is the main reason for this fundraiser. Madison will be an on-camera presenter for this year's live Nomination Party and she will be conducting their behind-the-scenes interviews of the nominees. The Goal. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support Madison's trip to San Diego. This journey is not merely a temporary experience but an investment in her long-term growth and success. The funds raised will directly contribute to her participation in prestigious events with the Youth Oscars, networking opportunities, and interactions with like-minded young individuals who share her passion for storytelling.
