My name is Yanina Vaysman and I am Elijah Sebastian Vaysman-Grijalva's sister. Early Friday morning Eli was rushed to the hospital because he had internal bleeding from his brain. He went into surgery but the swelling never went down, his reflexes were unresponsive and he wasn't waking up. His brain was unable to send information to his heart to tell it to breathe, and by Friday night his little heart stopped working. After numerous attempts to stabilize him, we had to turn off the machines. He was only nine years old.Eli is the son of Patrick Jaramillo-Grijalva, and Marina Vaysman. He had a crazy unique personality and was always full of energy. He was always happy to see people, and genuinely loved the company of friends and family. And he also loved his cell phone and his iPad. Eli was so healthy and this came as a shock to us all. It was so sudden and we are all left completely heartbroken. There are many unexpected expenses that have come with this tragedy, and as a family we are just trying to heal. Any financial support you could provide to help relieve some of our stress would be greatly appreciated and help allow us to just focus on our family and the struggles we are going through. So many of you have reached out and expressed sympathy during this difficult time, and I want you to know it means so much to know so many people care.
