Hello, my name is Ludwig Machado and like any big brother, I would like to take the responsibility of organizing this fundraiser to bring my little brother from Northern California to my mother and me in Southern California to have burial services for him. Efrain was 22 when his life came to an end. My little brother had a hard life as a teenager, but after seeing so much bad in his life he decided to live better. Like the smart boy he was he did his research to make a living. He started working, and slowly began to save up. He saved up for a new car and was on the hunt for a new apartment. He looked for new ways to learn new things. I found a notebook in his car from the towing company days after his car crash. His notebook had sushi recipes. All kinds of different sushi. I learned he was looking for a second job after knowing he’d be a father soon to a baby boy. I was not around to see my little brother make it in life for I decided on joining the army and starting my new journey in life. I grew up and started my own family. I never wanted to admit this but I always felt like I left my little brother behind after leaving to join the army. He was just a kid and I knew he missed me dearly and I missed him. I was the only big brother. I’m proud to see how much good he’s done. It’s not his fault for falling asleep on the road on his way to work. He was just working hard. I thank my mom for deciding on bringing my brother to be buried in our town now. She told me that she did it for me. She brought me my little brother and if Efrain was still here I’d say I’m not leaving you this time. My little brother leaves behind his pregnant girlfriend and my nephew he has not had a chance to meet yet. I would like to ask if friends and family can kindly donate to Efrain’s burial services, hospital expenses, and his family. Thank you all for taking the time to learn about my reason for this fundraiser.
