The Donna Lowe Alexander Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of a beloved mother, wife, daughter, friend, and more. Donna was an exceptional individual who made a significant impact in her community through her involvement in politics and her dedication to education. Donna Lowe Alexander served as the President of the Urban League of Union County, Assistant Director at Kean University, Union Township Committeewoman, Union Township Zoning Board Member, Union Township Democratic Club Member, and Union Township 28th District Committee Person. She was relentless in her efforts to drive positive change, uplift her community, and create a better world for those around her. Additionally, Donna embodied kindness, positivity, and empathy. She would always try to put a smile on others’ faces, regardless of what she was going through. She went above and beyond to help others and welcomed all with open arms and a loving heart. Donna was truly a beautiful and special soul. Through the Donna Lowe Alexander Memorial Scholarship Fund, Donna's memory and legacy will live on, inspiring and empowering future leaders to follow in her footsteps and continue the work she so deeply cared about. Its goal is to cultivate a new generation of changemakers and leaders who embody Donna’s values and passion for driving positive impact through politics and education. It will serve as a beacon of hope and foster a brighter and more compassionate world, just as Donna envisioned during her lifetime. “Though she may be gone, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
