Hi, most of you coming to this page will know me and most importantly know that Ollie has been my entire world for the last 7 years! And as such, I will always do anything and everything he needs to be a healthy and happy pup. If you don’t know me personally and are still coming to this page, Ollie and I truly thank you for taking the time to read this and consider helping. About a year ago Ollie started having issues with bleeding from his little manhood and it has been a very extensive journey of testing to figure out what the solution would be, to which we have finally settled on neutering him. While preparing him for surgery to neuter him we found that he has a slight heart murmur and hypothyroidism. Upon checking to ensure his heart was cleared to go under anesthesia, they also found a mucus seal had formed in his gall bladder most likely due to age mixed with the hypothyroidism. We did a lengthy round of antibiotics and additional meds to try and clear out the gallbladder along with getting his thyroid regulated; however, the mucus seal has remained. Therefore, Ollie will be having one surgery now to both remove the gallbladder and neuter him to avoid putting him under anesthesia twice. The surgery for gallbladder removal they have stressed is quite substantial in terms of the procedure itself and his recovery. Unfortunately I did not have Ollie on pet insurance prior with enough time for this to be considered towards payments and as such, I am creating this page. Again we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this journey with us, no words could ever convey my gratitude enough!
