It is with a heavy heart that we share that Hannah Elizabeth Malone, age 25, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2024. Hannah has been in and out of hospitals since her first brush with death at only 2 months old. Since then, she endured countless surgeries, medical procedures, medications, and attempts to lengthen her life. She lived with chronic pain and the knowledge that she would never live on this earth long enough to grow old. She fought everyday and lived her life to the fullest while she could. We come to you today to ask for your support for Becca and Kathryn (Hannah’s mom and stepmom) during this incredibly difficult time. The loss of Hannah has left the family's hearts shattered. As they grapple with grief, they are faced with the daunting task of arranging a proper farewell for Hannah. The burden of funeral costs is an added weight during this already overwhelming period, as her mother, Becca, has already been away from work for a significant amount of time over these past months as she helped care for Hannah. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be a step forward, helping ease the financial strain during this difficult time. Update: The Celebration of Life for Hannah will be held Sunday August 13th with a visitation at 2pm and service at 4pm. In honor of Hannah’s love for music we are encouraging people to wear a t-shirt with their favorite band on it. Hannah’s celebration will be held at a private residence in Grand Rapids, MI.
