Dear family & friends, We come together with heavy hearts to honor the memory of our beloved Gergis, who was unexpectedly taken from us on July 30th, 2024, leaving behind her husband, children and grandchildren who now face the future without their beloved wife and mother. Our world has been shattered by this tragedy and our family is navigating through the darkest days of our lives. Gergis was a loving, kind and compassionate soul. She had a zest for life and brought immense joy and love to all her family and friends in her community. About Gergis: Gergis was a wonderful wife to Georgeo Megos, mother to Weini, Ruth, Martha, Fana, Hana and Harena, a wonderful grandmother to Cameron and Maverick, and a wonderful friend to all who were in her presence and a mother figure to many young adults. She was vibrant, full of energy and she cared for everyone. Gergis is known for her wisdom and devotion to God. She could make anyone laugh and she was the life of the party. She will be missed but her memories will always last with us, make us smile, and keeping us feeling grateful to have know such a beautiful person. The Tragic Loss: While visiting Las Vegas to celebrate the wedding of a loved one, Gergis unexpectedly lost consciousness, causing her to be rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, Gergis was called home to God on July 30th, 2024. Our goal & how you can help: With your support, we hope to gather funds to cover immediate and long-term expenses, including bringing our beloved Gergis back home from Las Vegas to lay her to rest in San Jose. We did not anticipate the cost of medical bills, transportation of her body, funeral costs and other essentials we may require to adjust to life without our sweet Gergis. Your contributions will allow us the means to give Gergis the farewell she deserves. Any amount will make a significant difference and will be received with the utmost appreciation. With heartfelt gratitude , We want to thank the entire community for the support and love we have received. Additionally, your kind words, thoughts, and prayers continue to be a source of strength for our family during this challenging time.
