Hi, we are Rob and Charlie Thelen, and we are raising money to donate a bench at the Milwaukee County Zoo in our mom's name (Laura L Thelen). My mom passed away earlier this year... and she LOVED the zoo. She watched it on TV and she visited them across the US. She'd buy zoo passes for her nieces and nephews as Christmas presents and visit the zoo with her grandchildren. She literally would smile ear to ear when she saw a Giraffe and was almost paralyzed with excitement when she had a chance to feed one. This donation would help the zoo and make a space that we can all visit to remember an extraordinary woman. Thank you!
