My name is Gage Wallick, and I am the writer, director, and producer of the short film "DIG". The idea of a short film is for a filmmaker to use it as a way to show their unique ideas and talents as a filmmaker. That is why I want to go all out on this movie and make something that can truly show my ideas and visions. DIG delves into the story of Joe, a skilled hitman who finds himself faced with a moral dilemma while on the job. Hired to eliminate a gambling addict burdened with mounting debts, Joe wrestles with his conscience as he realizes that the man he is supposed to kill is the sole provider for his family. This internal conflict drives the narrative, exploring themes of compassion, and the complexities of human nature. To bring this project to life and ensure its quality, I am seeking funding. The allocated funds will be utilized for essential aspects of filmmaking such as securing talented actors, acquiring props, scouting suitable locations, and covering other necessary production expenses. By allocating the funds effectively, I aim to create a visually captivating and emotionally engaging film. Once completed, my intention is to submit "Dig" to numerous film festivals across the country.
