Despite my attempts at oral care, her condition has worsened, causing discomfort and affecting her overall well-being. She has been drooly, lethargic, and overall not herself. My vet has advised that Daisy undergo a dental cleaning, which includes scaling, polishing, and potential tooth extractions. The Importance of Dental Care: Just like humans, cats can suffer from dental problems that impact their quality of life. Dental disease in cats can cause pain, difficulty eating, and even lead to severe health issues if left untreated. Unfortunately, this expense exceeds my current financial capabilities, making it challenging for me to afford the necessary treatment for Daisy.
