Hi, my name is Declan O'Rourke and I am raising money for a mission trip to the Dominican Republic this fall with my church, New Dover United Methodist Church in Edison, NJ. Twice a year members of our church go to Los Cocos, DR to help build homes in the community. Since the mission was started, 158 houses have been built in Los Cocos and surrounding communities as well as the construction of The Mario Antonio Almonte Community Center. We help empower the community with education, income generation opportunities, and the Gospel. Any money raised above my personal goal to get me there will go directly to NDUMC's DR mission and used for the shipping of food, clothing and other supplies donated to the families of Los Cocos. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to help others in need.
