Hi, my name is Augusta Martin, I'm David's middle child. I am saddened to announce that we lost our dad unexpectedly on Friday, 07/21/2024. My dad had been out of work for roughly a year and was not in the best of health. All of us kids have lived out of state for a few years and his siblings (my Uncle Jodie, Aunt Julie, and Aunt Leesa) all lived a good distance from him as well. We are hoping to raise a little bit of money to help us with the formalities of what comes with this major loss and will be appreciative of any, and all, donations to help us through this more than we can even put into words. Our dad had the biggest heart and loved everyone that he held closest to him and this world really will never see another man like David Anthony Martin. As of right now we are planning on having a memorial service for him in the coming months but are unsure of the date and will let all of you know when it will be once we know for sure (I know it says 09/01/2024 but it requires one for me to complete the LFEBridge page). Thank you all for loving us and loving our sweet Dad. UPDATE: We want to thank every single one of you for your condolences, love, patience, and donations. This truly humbled us all and we are eternally grateful for all of you. We are still working out the details of the memorial service, but once we have a for-sure date I will update y'all with it.
