Hello all, my name is Megan Gullickson. I am a cousin to Jocelyn. As most of you know Dave has been on a cancer fighting journey. What began as lung cancer has metastasized to most of his body. He wanted to fight. He fought so hard and faced every obstacle along the way. He has had more ER visits than one could count, several hospital stays ultimately ending with being life flighted to Sanford in Fargo in the ICU. Where he is currently. Dave underwent surgery to have the tumor on his lung removed that was blocking his airway. While being intubated and sedated his lung has collapsed. Jocelyn is being faced with her worst nightmare of making the decision to remove intubation and keep Dave as comfortable as possible. Dave and Jocelyn have both been out of work, with many hotel stays, emergency visits, appointments, radiation treatment days, surgeries, and uncountable bills. Which will continue to come in. In the coming days there will be several other expenses that Jocelyn will have to face alone. I am asking all and any friends and family of Jocelyn and Dave to help alleviate these expenses so Jocelyn can give Dave the memorial he deserves without worrying about losing their home. Jocelyn has already began selling many important to them belongings to afford this journey and be with Dave as much as possible. Any and everything is appreciated. I know Dave wouldn’t want Jocelyn to have to worry at all. He is the most selfless person and deserves any help we can give them. On behalf of them, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
