Hello everyone! My name is Danny Clarke and I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful for the opportunity to represent the United States of America in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan for the World Deaf Wrestling Championships! It will be from September 2-12, 2024. I will be competing in both freestyle and Greco-Roman events, in the 97 kg weight division. Our team is scheduled to fly out of Chicago O'Hare to Bishkek on August 28th and return the evening of September 12th. Due to the limited time available for seeking sponsorships, fundraising or saving up for this event, I have established a LFEBridge campaign as another form of support. Many of you have come across my Facebook post regarding our team t-shirts and have placed orders, for which I am truly appreciative. Upon learning about my cause, a number of family and friends have expressed interest in making direct donations, which motivated me to create this campaign. Donated funds will be utilized as follows: Airfare Lodging Transportation Uniforms Referee Fees (We will not have any referees from the US) Meals If there are any remaining funds, they will be allocated towards supporting me in my next goal to make it to the Deaflympics scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan in November 2025.
