Hi! My name is Hannah and I am fundraising to go on a service trip to Guatemala with Crossroads Church (July 26-August 1, 2024). I will be working with local middle school and high school students to ensure they break the cycle of poverty. Through community service projects I will work alongside these students to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods and provide them with the skills and resources they need to build a brighter future. We will be helping them prepare for life after graduation by providing mentorship, educational resources, and vocational training. By investing in these young people, we can empower them to reach their full potential and break free from the cycle of poverty that has held their families back for generations. This trip partners with Cooperative For Education. This trip really speaks to me because I am an educator at an inner-city school in Northern Kentucky and many of my students and families are from Guatemala. These students have a special place in my heart. It has always been a goal of mine to go to Guatemala one day and serve! I would love to be immersed in the culture and to also have this connection with my students. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for considering donating!
