This morning.. August 5th, around 7Am Jim Flescher passed away. A Beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, and Grandpa. This all started in mid March, he grew sick and it seemed to last way longer then it should and wasn’t getting better. One night he couldn’t breathe, we rushed him to the hospital where they told us he had pneumonia, and a COPD flair up (He didn’t have COPD before this visit…) they put him under and shipped him to boise. A few days later he was released home and for the month of April-may he was in and out of the hospital at least once a week because he knew something was wrong, but they sent him home until he started passing out without warning. Finally in June they found he had Heart Failure.. Only 25% of his heart was functioning and he had fluid built up around the heart and lungs, but by this point it was to far and he was to weak to operate. They made him an appointment in Bend to see a cardiologist in July, he immediately wanted to put stints in to help and we went back the next week to do so… Unfortunately when they went in they had to stop, his heart was sicker then they originally thought so they tried a medication to quickly remove some fluid and kick his heart to bring up his blood pressure, at first it seemed to work then it stopped and the doctor said best case he would have 6 months. They sent him home to be with family.. It was only 15 days… Jim wishes to be cremated and that is what this fund is for. We would be extremely grateful for anything and we thank you in advance .
