Olivia and Makena Cremarosa lost their dad on July 4, 2024. For the better part of a decade, Kyle waged a heroic battle against an extremely rare and aggressive Stage 4 sarcoma (bone cancer), called adamantinoma, which may have originated back in 2003 when he broke his fibula during his senior football season at Harvard University. To put the rarity of adamantinoma into perspective, approximately 1% of all adult cancers are sarcoma, and adamantinoma accounts for about 1% of all sarcomas. Kyle’s fight involved the amputation of his left leg in 2013 and dozens and dozens of rounds of radiation and chemotherapy. As Kyle was an exceptional athlete, he did more with one leg than most do with two. He ran a half marathon, went snowboarding at every opportunity, attended concerts and football games with his friends, and spent as much quality time with Olivia and Makena as possible, for example coaching their softball teams. Check out some of their adventures together at Kyle’s facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mrkylec/ All who had the privilege of knowing Kyle were touched by his spirit. He fought relentlessly for each moment of quality time he shared with his girls. And he was always smiling. He lived his life to the fullest, with a perspective, tenacity, and expression of love that were truly inspirational. Please join us in raising funds to support Olivia and Makena's future education. 100% of proceeds (net of Go Fund Me fees) will be deposited in 529 college savings plans for the girls.
