Hi, my name is Blessing and my almost 3 year old cat, Moon is honestly my best friend. I call him my suicide prevention cat and he's really good at his job! (A dark joke but true) Moon is energetic, curious, playful and cuddly but has not been any of those lately. On Saturday July 29th, I could not find Moon when I got home. I later found him in a hiding spot, with his vomit around his mouth and excrement still on his behind. I picked him up and put him down and found he could not walk. He could not look at me either and just lay unmoving with a blank stare. After an emergency vet visit, and an emotional waiting period, today, July 31st, I was able to get him into his vet and by some miracle, he is walking again! Extremely wobbly, however. His pupils are still abnormal at times, he falls frequently and has refused to eat. To get to the bottom of how far is neurological issues have gotten, Moon is receiving x-rays, blood work, ther tests and medications to help him recover. As a young person working their very first job out of school, I do not have the funds to reliably care for him and cover these costs. I would greatly appreciate any help to care for my Moon. Please help if you can by donating or sharing the link. Much love and thank you in advance :) Thank you, Blessing Update/August 3rd- Moon is stable and walking a bit better. He is overall very absent and a different cat than before but from a neurologist, it seems as though he will get 90% back to normal over the course of a few months. Currently, he has trouble eating, falls frequently and is very confused, his pupils dilate strangely. The diagnosis is a "suspected idiopathic vascular event (stroke)" There currently over $2,400 in bills that I can not afford and have mainly used credit for. Donations will grewtly help me to cover these bills and continue to care for Moon's needs. Some pictures and context- July 30th. His eyes are open, cannot hold himself up for more than a few seconds October 22. His regular self, very active and playful Morning on July 31st, before his first steps. He insists on hiding as much as he can. Not asleep, he just freezes that way most of the time now. August 2nd
