Subject: Contributions for My Dad's Funeral Expenses Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well.I am Christine Akoth ,rising sophomore at Elmhurst University. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share some unfortunate news. My beloved father, Benard Odhiambo, recently passed away, and our family is currently facing the difficult task of arranging his funeral. As you may know, funerals can be financially burdensome, and we want to give my dad the respectful farewell he deserves. To that end, I am humbly requesting your support in the form of contributions towards the funeral expenses. Every little bit will make a significant difference, and your generosity will be greatly appreciated during this challenging time. The burial will take place on July 26th ,2024 ,in Kenya .The money is kindly needed a week before the burial date so that we could purchase the required items. Our goal is to raise $2000 to cover the funeral costs, including the casket ,burial, and related expenses. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will go a long way in helping us achieve that goal. Please know that any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful impact and bring some relief to our family. I understand that not everyone may be in a position to contribute financially, and that is completely understandable. Your emotional support, thoughts, and prayers are equally valuable to us during this difficult time. If you are unable to contribute financially but would still like to help, please consider sharing this message with other individuals who may be interested in supporting our cause. Additionally, if you have any questions or require further information, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Your kindness and consideration mean the world to us, and we are genuinely grateful for your support. Thank you for taking the time to read this message and considering our request. We are incredibly fortunate to have friends and colleagues like you who have always been there for us. Together, let's honor my dad's memory and provide him with the farewell he deserves. With heartfelt gratitude, Christine Akoth
