Hello everyone! I want to thank those of you who have previously supported me in this journey towards this incredible goal of mine! Here is a quick recap of what I have achieved previously, put together by journalist Kathy McManus: https://bvmsports.com/2024/07/05/lookout-mountains-jack-snare-fast-track-to-elite-track-cycling/ Since the article was published, I have achieved even higher metrics that got the attention of Erin Hartwell (track cycling legend and coach) which got me an invitation to USA Cycling's Search For Speed Talent Integration program in Carson, CA. The program is designed to prepare me for a spot on the Olympic team and/or the international stage, and does so by providing three ten-day training and assessment camps supported by six weeks of periodized coach-supported training blocks between each experiential camp. The camps include athlete evaluation and assessments, track cycling education, anti-doping education and testing, and more. I am getting hooked up quite royally by USAC for attending the camps i.e. a fully built bike, helmet and jersey, lodging, and more. However, travel expenses, food, and a few other small pieces of equipment I still need to cover. From the budgeting and research I have done, $2,000 per camp (total of $6,000) is what I humbly ask for your help with.
