Hello, I am a long time friend of Tara’s wishing to help her through a really difficult time. If you know Tara, you know Colton. He has been her faithful companion for 10 years and is always by her side. He is her best friend, her protector, her biggest form of stability, her pride and joy & entire world. A few days ago, Colt began having stomach issues and exhibiting behavior unlike anything she has ever experienced. He stopped eating and drinking. He was extremely lethargic and couldn’t even walk up and down the stairs. He was rushed to the animal hospital where they performed blood tests to find out that his liver levels were astronomically high and white blood cell counts were abnormal. They were unable to determine the exact cause and want Colt to have more tests to determine if this is something he will be able to survive. They fear he will not be able to make it long enough to even determine the cause of his pain. Tara has suffered an incredible financial loss trying to get his medications and treatments and it is unclear what the future will hold. I would like to raise enough to help her pay for the medication and care he already received so she is able to focus on the next steps without the financial burden. Colton is Tara’s whole heart. He has walked by her side for so long and she should solely be worried about his care at this time. If you have anything that you are able to donate to help her, I would sincerely appreciate it.
