To my friends and family, and whomever is concerned. Chippy was a two year old Boxer who was very energetic, friendly, and loyal. Most people that interacted with him were overwhelmed by his energy but were embraced by his friendliness. He was loyal because even when he ran away, he always came back and he never strayed far from your side during walks. He was friendly because he always wanted to give people hugs, always wanted to wrestle, always wanted to give kisses, but would never bite! His energy was unmatched. On July 5, he suffered from a severe heatstroke; he was hospitalized within the 24 hours of contracting heatstroke and given treatment. Treatment for Chippy started at $2,500 for one day but escalated due to his critical condition. The team of doctors had to give further help beyond the initial payment of $2,500 which bumped the costs of care up to $3055.83. In the end, Chippy's condition worsened drastically and quickly. The kindest, most peaceful decision was to stop treatment and adhere Ethanasia. On July 6, he passed away near the afternoon.
