My name is Kate May and I am the aunt of Carter Davis. Carter is 3 1/2 years old. Carter has been battling a disease called HLH since March of 2024. Carter kept his spirits up throughout his treatment of HLH. The end of June an infection took over his whole body and put him into septic shock. He overcame every obstacle this disease threw at him. July 4th the doctors told my sister and brother in law that the fungal infection was in his lungs. He passed on July 5th 1:50 am in my sisters arms. Carter was the most upbeat, energetic, zombie loving kid you ever met. He would dance to the song thriller all day if we let him. Nothing scared this kid. He loved Halloween and shooting zombies with his grandpa and brother. I am starting this go fund me for them to help with medical expenses and funeral expenses. We love you dude. We will miss you so much.
