Hey there :) My name is Brie and I really need your help to raise money so I can represent Queensland for netball! Please, if you can, help me to raise funds for my trip to the Indoor Netball Australia (INA) SuperNationals being held in Perth later this year. From this tournament, players can be further selected to represent Australia at the Indoor Netball World Cup. This is my first-ever year trialling for and being selected into a Queensland State sporting team! I was lucky enough to be selected for the Ladies 23 Heat Queensland indoor netball team. It is a huge achievement and a step forward in my netball career, but naturally, it comes at a cost. All up the trip is expected to cost approximately $3000 - This cost includes flights, accommodation, uniforms, food, registration fees, insurance and health care costs, other playing expenses such as strapping tape, and coaching and administration fees. As a full-time university student completing my Bachelor of Social Work (Honours), I have very little time to work in between my training and university commitments. I am also trying to raise funds by selling some pre-loved clothes, but it only counts for a small portion of the tour fees. This is why a donation of any amount, no matter how small or big, can help me to cover some of the cost of the tour. Please, please if you have anything to offer it would be a huge help! Some of the success my indoor teams have had this year so far! Gold medal (1st) for 'Mixed 23' at the Open Zones tournament 3rd for 'Ladies 23' at the Aged Zones tournament Silver medal (2nd) at the 6-aside INFQ tournament. This was also my first time playing 6-aside and will be playing both 6's and 7's in Perth at Nationals. Both of my SuperLeague teams (indoor netball premier league) are on top of the ladder, and are expected to be playing for gold in the finals soon!
