Our family is just heartbroken. Bradley, an Army veteran, lost his battle with PTSD, a traumatic brain injury (TBI) when I found him deceased in his bedroom 8/3/23. We don’t know what happened exactly but he struggled very hard to maintain his sobriety. He apparently had lesions on his brain from an IED attack and a heart arrhythmia which contributed ultimately to a sudden death. Brad was a loving, loyal, amazing patriot who had anyone’s back and would give the shirt off his. He was a prankster and loved to make borrowed “bits” his own. He is also the first person I’ve known to bring his own hatchet to a yoga retreat. Bradley was a rogue. A drifter. A vagabond wanderer full of life. He floated around from one job to the next and one couch to another. He knew enough about a lot to get him by. And girls loved him. Campfire stories were his favorite but most of all he loved his family and friends. As a mother of three boys, I’m so proud I had the brief opportunity to entertain this soul from birth to death. Holding his hand at each entry and exit. My last words to him were “I love you” with a hug. I didn’t know I wouldn’t see him alive again. I love you so much my beautiful angel and I’m so happy that you gave me your life for the moments we had. Duty. Honor. Country. Your watch has ended and we got you from here my darling boy.❤️ if you or someone you know can help with the mounting expenses of cleanup and funeral expenses we would be so grateful. Please share any memories you have of him.
