Hi, my name is Joell, and I am fundraising for my five year old cat Binky Lee. Binky started feeling under the weather a couple of days ago, and today I found out that he has hemolytic anemia. His body is not producing any red blood cells, and his immune system is rapidly failing. I am employed full-time, however, I do not have any credit cards, and I do not have emergency money, saved up, and therefore, I cannot afford to pay for a blood transfusion for him. I know that this is not anyone’s problem, but my own, however, this cat is the absolute love of my life. He is my heart. if y’all watch my stories, you know! The emergency blood transfusion is a necessity for him to live And any help that anybody could give would be absolutely amazing. The veterinarian said that we can try steroid treatment to see if he improves, but she also informed me, that if his quality of life doesn’t improve, I will need to consider his quality of life, because essentially, without a blood transfusion, he is terminal. This has all happened within the past couple of hours, so I am in extreme shock, and I am beside myself. I apologize for asking you all for help, but, I am. If anyone could help at this time, I would greatly appreciate it, and so would he! this steroid treatment sounds hopeful, but ideally, he needs the transfusion to live. Binky was a rescue kitten, and I have had him since he was a baby. He’s an amazing Cat, and he deserves to live as long as he can. So anything you guys can do it would really be awesome and helpful.
