My daughter Bella has volunteered to join a 4 week conservation expedition to Kenya in 2025 just a couple of months after she turns 16 with Camps International. She will live and work alongside local people and get involved in a range of sustainable projects, from community development to environmental conservation. This will include working with the Tumaini Women's group and local farmers to ensure their crops and animals provide vital food for the community. She will also assist with building projects in the local villages providing vital areas for education and health projects. She will then move to the Tsavo East National Park to undertake wildlife projects to protect the endangered animals in the region. The final stage of the expedition involves moving to the coast where she will help with work to clean up the local beaches and sea turtle conservation. In order to go on this amazing expedition Bella has to fundraise the cost and will be undertaking a number of different activities over the next 18 months. Bella is very grateful for any assistance that people can give to help her reach her goal and will be providing updates on her activities and progress across social media.
