(Sargent) Doughty, 39, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 22, 2024 due to injury’s sustained in an automobile accident. Becca was born July 15, 1984. She was the wife and soul mate of Shane Doughty, whom she married February 2, 2024. The mother of her beloved son, Seth A. Sargent and a daughter to Roger Sargent and the late Robin (Cline) Green. Becca grew up in Girard and graduated from Girard High School in 2002. In high school, Becca was able to develop and grow her love for the arts while also being a member of the color guard in the marching band. After high school, all of Becca’s time and energy was directed toward her amazing son Seth. Becca was an extremely goal driven and focused wife, mother and employee. Becca’s incredible work ethic and love for her son led her to many different job opportunities. One of Becca’s many jobs was a Production Manager at Airborne, Inc. That opportunity and experience enabled her to achieve her career job at Spectrum Control as a Production Supervisor. Becca was not only highly respected by her employees but also her peers and supervisors. Becca’s personality radiated love, kindness and independence often leaving a lasting mark on others. Becca was blessed with a unique artistic ability to see outside of the box, which resonated in her vision of what she wanted to make of her recently purchased home with Shane. She always had an unconditional love for animals, especially her cats, Grace, Hazel and kitten Gwynnie. Becca was preceded in death by her mother, maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Cline, step grandmother, Bonnie Brandon-Hawley and brother-in-law, Justin Doughty. She will always be remembered by her loving family which includes step-mother, Susan Sargent; brother Shawn Walston (Jordan Davis); step-sisters, Erin Yarrington (Todd) and Emily Brown (Jason); paternal grandparents, Charles and Yvonne Sargent; paternal step grandfather, John Hawley; her in-laws; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
