Hello, for those that know Beau, he has been more than a pet for us, here is his story. On March 19th, Beau woke up with a cough and body shakes. He was drooling and could not walk on his own. We took him to the hospital where they did tests and told us he had aspiration pneumonia. After 2 weeks of antibiotics, he started to improve. We went back and had him re x-rayed which it showed his pneumonia had spread. For the last 4 months, Beau has had 9 x-rays and tried 5 different types of antibiotics. Which all failed. He has had chronic Pneumonia and been seeing an internal medicine specialist since then. On July 7th, after another one of Beau's episodes happened where he struggles to breathe, cannot walk, fever, body shakes and drooling, his specialist called with his x-ray results. The results: more pneumonia in both of his lungs. Beau now has scar tissue in one of his lungs on top of his now double pneumonia. About a month ago, Beau had an ultrasound to see if the doctors were missing anything and everything came back negative. We took next steps in doing a bronchoscope with a flush. There we discovered his esophageal diverticulum. A pouch in his esophagus that takes up a quarter of his throat. On July 29th, Beau was admitted into the ICU due to a lack of oxygen. He is currently fighting for his life. He is 4 years old with a lot of fight left in him. We can’t financially support this next step in his long recovery. Please consider donating to support Beau in his long recovery. If you are unable to donate monetarily, please pray for our boy. Thank you
