Hi. As many of you know, my sweet puppy girl is not the sharpest but she IS the sweetest. Bambi is a trash puppy by nature and managed to lick, chew, and swallow glass. She has been in the hospital since Wednesday (7/19/2024) getting xrays and yesterday she had surgery. The best news is that she is going to be okay and should be getting released back into my care in the next 24 hours. The tough thing with this is finances. I am still paying off some medical bills of hers from last year and this whole situation has drained my savings account. I work two jobs (as a retail associate and a server) and don't take many days off as it is. Asking for help like this makes me uncomfortable but I am incredibly overwhelmed and don't know how I am going to find my way out of this hole. I know that life is expensive for all of us and I do not want anyone to feel obligated to help with this. I just don't know what to do and hope that if anyone has just 1 extra penny to spare, they might give it to Bambi. I have included photos of her xrays that show the glass in her stomach. If you don't have an extra penny, please just send her your love and thoughts for a speedy recovery.
