Hello everyone! My name is Ayden Smith, I’m an 8 year young A/B Honor Roll scholar who plays AAU Basketball, football, and runs track for the CTX Vipers Association. On June 29th, I competed in the 2024 Region 19 qualifier, in Converse Texas. With countless hours of hard work and dedication throughout this season, I was able to showcase my skills by placing 1st overall in the 400m dash and 2nd in the 800m run, earning the opportunity to compete in the 2024 AAU Junior Olympics, located in Des Moines, IA July 29th-August 5th. I currently rank top 10 in the 400m, and top 5 800m runners amongst the AAU JO qualifiers registered. As this has been my dream come true, this is a nation wide event, and many kids are not able to attend due to travel and expenses that come with this opportunity.
