My name is Aria B. and I am a 15 year old student at Springfield High School and currently completing my freshman year. I would like to participate in two upcoming educational trips I have been invited to and would like your assistance.The first trip is a 11 day Student Ambassador Trip to Ashikaga, Japan in the spring of 2016. I would be traveling to Japan with the “Sister Cities” program as a Student Ambassador for the purpose of studying and learning about Japanese culture as well as representing Illinois, specifically the City of Springfield, which is a “Sister City” to Ashikaga, Japan. I had the pleasure of hosting a Japanese student in my home during the fall 2015 delegation. I had such an awesome time getting to know all the ambassador students and learning about the differences in our cultures! I am eagerly awaiting my chance to visit Japan and continue those relationships I have started and create more.The second trip I am working towards is a school based trip to Paris and Rome for students in French and Latin class, hosted by both language teachers through the Education First Tour Company. We will spend 8 days visiting world-known historical places that every student studying French or Latin dreams of seeing.It is my goal to be able to work, raise and save enough to attend both of these trips. I believe each one offers very important and unique experiences and I will benefit from each in vastly different ways.If you have an office in Springfield office that has any work or projects I can assist with to earn money for these opportunities that I believe will be some of the most enriching experiences of my young adult life, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to earn money toward my goals.
